We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join the Hoxton team for our Bishops Waltham Store. This is a small store with lots of regular customers and an amazing existing team. You will lead our fabulous team, foster a positive environment and manage the day to day running of the Store. No two days are the same at Hoxton so problem solving, accountability and challenges will be part of your everyday work.
A bit about you:
* Have a positive attitude with great communication skills
* Enjoy working with a small team, while linking in with the wider Hoxton team
* Provide amazing customer service to every customer who walks through the door
* Be driven to learn about our products, the company and turn this knowledge into operational excellence
* Be reliable with the flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends
* Barista trained or Barista experience
* Have knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety in a retail environment would be an advantage
* Ability to travel to cover in other stores would be an advantage
A bit about the role:
* Working alongside the Store Manager to assist managing day to day operations
* Creating a positive environment with fabulous customer service
* Preparing drinks, sandwiches and selling our freshly made buns and bread
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
* Communicate effectively with team members to provide clear instructions.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
* Provide cover for the Store Manager
* Most importantly you will work with the Store Manager to build morale and team spirit where employees feel respected and valued.
