We are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to join The Owl at Hawnby, a remote, food-led Yorkshire pub with a fast-growing reputation. This role suits a chef keen to develop, take responsibility and progress within a young, independent business.
Working closely with the Head Chef, youll help drive standards forward, contribute to menu development, and gain genuine leadership experience.
The Role:
Running a section to a high standard
Supporting menu development and kitchen management
Deputising for the Head Chef when required
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in busy, fresh-food kitchens
Ready to step up and develop leadership skills
Basic management experience an advantage
Good knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
Motivated, driven and keen to improve
The Food & Opportunity:
