My client is a leading international law firm in Leeds and they are looking to recruit a talented and motivated lawyer to join their market-leading Social Housing Finance team. This would be a perfect role for those who might already have in-depth social housing finance experience, but it would be just as perfect for real estate finance solicitors who might be looking for a change in direction or something that can offer a new challenge.
My client advises a wide range of funders, including major banks, on complex financing transactions within the social housing sector. In collaboration with a successful and highly experienced team, the successful applicant will be involved in work relating to financing and property security arrangements, mergers and acquisitions within the social housing sector, bond issues and private placements as well as sustainability-linked lending and development financing (this is not an exhaustive list).
Candidates must be qualified solicitors who can evidence strong real estate finance experience. Although candidates should ideally have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, my client is prepared to consider all levels of PQE should candidates possess the particular expertise that they are looking for.
This role will be based in my client's Leeds City Centre office and hybrid working will be available. Candidates can expect a salary that is towards the top end of the market in Leeds and will be linked to the number of years of relevant experience that applicants can bring to the role.
