Pay rate: £12.76ph - Pay increase to £13.37 after 12 week worked
Job Type: Full time, ongoing Working Hours: 6:15am-1:30pm Monday – Thursday, 6:15am -1:00pm Friday
Full Driving Licence Required
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Litter Picker to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of designated public areas. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for visitors by ensuring spaces remain free of litter and waste.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Empty public bins in designated areas to maintain cleanliness and visual appeal
2. Pick up litter and debris from around the area, including car parks and paths
3. Use litter-picking equipment and machinery safely, following all safety guidelines
4. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, contributing to overall site safety
5. Promptly report any equipment faults or damages to reduce downtime
6. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and professionally as required
7. Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high performance
Requirements:
8. Excellent levels of physical fitness
9. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely
10. Strong attention to detail and personal responsibility
11. Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently
