Job Title: HGV Class 2 Drivers and Drivers Mates
Location: Chepstow
Salary: £15.12 per hour / just over £37,000 annually for HGV Class 2 drivers
Salary: £12.21 per hour for a drivers mate
Hours: Starting at 06:00am - 16:30pm with potential overtime. Flexibility required to meet business needs.
We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers and Drivers Mates on a temporary basis, with opportunities for permanent roles for the right candidates.
The Role:
* Start at 06:00 - 16:30, with overtime possible based on business needs. Candidates should be open to additional hours.
* Monday to Friday, no weekends or bank holidays.
* Multi-drop deliveries between 5 - 15 drops across specified postcodes, requiring good road knowledge.
Postcodes include: SY / TF / WV / DY / WR / HR / GL / OX / SN / RG / GU / PO / SO / BH / DT / EX / TA / BA / BS / NP / CF / SA / LD.
* Work as part of a two-person team with a driver's mate. Customer service skills and teamwork are essential.
* Manual handling training and equipment provided, including stair walkers and hydraulic skoots.
* Delivering to businesses, no residential properties. Delivering and collecting white goods, unpacking but no installation.
Must have:
* Driving license
* Over 25 years old for insurance purposes
* No points on license
* No drinking or drug convictions
