Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor role at TieTalent. Hybrid work arrangement. Due to awarded projects on AMP 8, a major Civil Engineering contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to complement their Commercial team on large infrastructure projects in Kent.
Responsibilities
* Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement (essential)
* Prepare monthly progress valuations and claims for work completed within deadlines
* Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and Contract Budget reports
* Manage and agree Contract Compensation Events and Changes on the projects
* Provide support to the Commercial Manager and liaise with Customers Commercial Team
* Champion Sustainability, Safety, Health and Environment by prioritising safety and wellbeing and helping communities to thrive
* Be customer focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
Qualifications
* Educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent with a proven track record of commercial success on civil engineering or utility projects for tier 1 or tier 2 contractors
* Thorough understanding of NEC contracts
