Responsibilities
* Provide medical and surgical care for small animals as part of a busy small animal practice.
* Balance a combination of consultations and surgeries, working closely with long-established clients.
* Collaborate with a supportive team across multiple locations to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Participate in continued professional development and clinical advancement within the team.
* Contribute to flexible rota planning to support work-life balance; no out-of-hours (OOH) work required.

* Dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with strong surgical and medical skills.

Salary and Working Pattern
This is ideally a full-time role (40 hours) over 4 days per week between 8am and 7pm, with a share in 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am - 12:00pm). Flexibility is available for the right candidate. No OOH work required.

Auchterarder practice has been recently renovated with two large consultation rooms and growing case loads. We offer advanced services such as laparoscopy, ultrasonography, dental radiography (IM3), in-house lab testing, digital radiography, and laser therapy. Perth, Scotland is a historic city on the River Tay and is an accredited Silver Cat Friendly Clinic.
Our dedicated team includes 6 vets, 5 registered veterinary nurses, 3 student nurses, and 2 animal care assistants, along with a supportive reception team. We prioritise continuous professional development, supporting specialisation, and encouraging clinical advancement in a collaborative culture.
