Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to various key stages and student abilities
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons following the curriculum and School guidelines
* Track student progress and implement targeted strategies to boost outcomes
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop resources and share teaching ideas
* Maintain a safe and well-organised laboratory or classroom environment
* Participate in ongoing professional development and Science education initiatives
* Promote and uphold health and safety regulations during practical work
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Demonstrable experience teaching Science at secondary School level
* Strong subject expertise and enthusiasm for Science education
* Commitment to student wellbeing and academic progress
* Excellent skills in communication, organisation, and classroom management
* Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse learning needs
* Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
