A welcoming Good primary in Surrey invites applications for a committed Year 2 Teacher to begin full-time from January 2026. The successful Year 2 Teacher will teach a motivated class and will lead learning through high-quality, engaging lessons designed to close gaps and accelerate progress across Year 2.

Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
• The Year 2 Teacher will deliver a well-sequenced Year 2 curriculum, including structured phonics and early maths mastery.
• The Year 2 Teacher will assess, monitor and track attainment, using data to shape targeted interventions.
• The Year 2 Teacher will build positive relationships with families and communicate progress effectively.
• The Year 2 Teacher will contribute to enrichment programmes and pastoral care.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience in KS1 or Year 2.
• The Year 2 Teacher will be adept at differentiation, behaviour management and use of assessment for learning.
• A reflective and ambitious Year 2 Teacher who is eager to develop professionally and engage with CPD.
