Main duties of the job
This role will focus on creating, maintaining, analysing, and reporting accurate and consistent data related to People Relations. You will communicate and escalate concerns, identify areas for improvement, and support the team with People Relations responsibilities, including training, procedures, best practices, and legislation.

Job description
Job responsibilities
Serve as a primary contact and subject matter expert for people relations issues, supporting quality, team development, and continuous improvement.
Utilize trained mediators and other means for conflict resolution, focusing on informal resolution where possible.
Mitigate risks in all people relations activities.
Review cases regularly, ensure data accuracy, escalate concerns, and focus on solutions.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with procedures, templates, and legal requirements.
Collaborate with leadership and legal counsel on complex issues.
Monitor adherence to procedures and drive improvements as needed.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* A good general education, professional degree level
* A relevant HR qualification (CIPD level 5 or working towards it)
* At least 2 years of Employee Relations experience
* Experience in reviewing and creating policies and procedures
* Healthcare sector HR experience is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
* Professional confidence and ability to challenge appropriately
* Ability to meet deadlines, manage expectations, and adapt to change
* Positive, proactive, and flexible approach
* Right to work in the UK
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role requires a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 (Exceptions Order).
