Director of Learning
Are you a visionary Director of Learning ready to make a significant impact on a global scale? We're a leading international organization with a substantial presence in the US, embarking on an ambitious HR transformation, and we need your expertise to build our learning function from the ground up.
This isn't just a role; it's an opportunity to create something truly exceptional. Reporting directly to the senior HR leadership team (CPO-2 level), you'll have the mandate to define, design, and deliver a cutting-edge learning strategy across all levels of our business. We're looking for a leader who can not only build a high-performing team but also embed a culture of continuous learning with a strong technical and digital focus.
What You'll Do:
* Architect the Future of Learning: Define and execute a comprehensive learning roadmap that aligns with our global HR transformation and business objectives.
* Build from Scratch: Establish the learning function, including recruiting, developing, and leading a talented team of learning professionals.
* Drive Digital & Technical Capability: Design and implement innovative digital learning solutions and technical training programs that enhance skill sets across the organization.
* Demonstrate ROI: Develop clear metrics and reporting mechanisms to showcase the tangible return on investment (ROI) of our learning initiatives, proving their impact on business performance.
* Cultivate a Learning Culture: Champion a culture of continuous learning, ensuring our employees have the skills and knowledge to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.
* Collaborate & Influence: Partner closely with senior leadership, HR business partners, and departmental heads to understand learning needs and drive engagement.
Who You Are:
* An experienced Director of Learning with a proven track record of building and scaling learning functions in large, complex organizations.
* A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of defining a bold vision and executing it with precision.
* Deeply proficient in digital learning technologies and methodologies, with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience.
* Someone who understands the critical importance of ROI in learning and can articulate its value to stakeholders.
* A natural leader and team builder, adept at attracting, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
* Experience in the retail or franchise industry would be a significant advantage, bringing valuable insights into our operational environment.
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment with a significant US footprint.
