Role Overview
Join as a Dental Nurse at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust to deliver high‑quality dental care across primary care sites in Bristol, Bath and Weston.
Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness and infection control in line with current codes of practice and trust policy.
* Support clinicians with four‑handed dentistry, anticipating needs and managing potential complications, including medical and dental emergencies.
* Provide clinical support and advice to the dental team.
* Identify each patient’s medical, dental and personal needs before, during and after treatment.
* Process dental instruments, perform daily testing and document decontamination processes.
* Support the reception area and perform some administrative duties when required.
Qualifications
* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant NHS experience.
* Experience working with a variety of patient groups is desirable but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
