A great new opportunity has arisen to join a thriving womenswear fashion brand as a Logistics Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered to the right locations on time, working closely with teams in the UK & USA.
This role will suit a strong communicator with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within logistics and/or merchandising looking to join a fun and friendly team based in East London!
Main responsibilities will include:
* Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. General and Task Management.
* Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with our Wholesale Team, our Stores, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
* Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance.
* Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
* Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
* Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers.
* Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records agree.
* Check all AWB are correct with weights, HS codes, declared values, etc.
* Work closely with the Wholesale team, Merchandising team, Accounts and 3PLs in UK and USA.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process.
* Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on time.
* Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs regulations.
Person specification:
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar role with good knowledge of HS codes and all documentation for compliance for all imports and exports.
* Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Proven analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
