*About the Role:*
Acorn Safety Services is seeking an experienced *Fire Risk Assessor* to join our growing safety consultancy team.
In this role, you'll carry out *fire risk assessments, audits, and fire door inspections* across a variety of commercial and domestic sites. You'll be responsible for producing clear, practical reports and advising clients on how to stay compliant with fire safety regulations.
This is a *full-time employed role* with structured working, national travel, and company support.
*What You'll Be Doing:*
* Conduct fire risk assessments at client sites across the UK
* Complete fire door inspections
* Review fire safety documentation and procedures
* Produce written reports and risk assessment documents
* Provide up-to-date fire safety advice based on current legislation
* Ensure reports are returned within 10 working days
*What We're Looking For:*
* At least *2 years' experience* in fire risk assessments
* *NEBOSH Fire Certificate* or equivalent (required)
* *IFSM membership* (or willingness to apply)
* Full UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Comfortable with national travel and occasional overnight stays
* Strong communication and report writing skills
