Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible Nurture Teachers with a strong focus on KS4 core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and GCSE preparation. You will work with students in a range of supportive environments—including libraries and students’ homes—tailoring learning to their needs, interests, and personal goals. With the ability to choose your own hours within the school day, this role offers exceptional flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess KS4 and GCSE-focused lessons, targeting core subject gaps and building exam readiness.

Adapt learning to incorporate students’ interests to boost engagement, motivation, and confidence.
*
Provide tailored academic and emotional support for students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA.
*
Enjoy flexible working hours within the school day, designing a timetable that suits your personal needs.
*
Teach in varied settings, such as local libraries or students’ homes, selecting environments that best support individual learners.
*
Create a safe, nurturing space where students can develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
*
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, and external agencies to support each student’s holistic progress.
*
Track progress and adapt strategies to ensure sustained academic development, particularly in preparation for GCSE examinations.

Promote positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and a growth mindset.
Key Requirements
*
PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
*
Experience teaching the KS4/GCSE curriculum, especially core subjects.
*
Experience working with SEND, SEMH, or EBSA students is highly desirable.
*
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*
A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to personalise learning and adapt to different environments.

Passion for helping students overcome barriers, close learning gaps, and achieve success.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a supportive team.
