Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Weekend Supervisor / Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, excellent service skills, and the ability to manage busy weekend shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, supervising bar operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Prior experience in restaurant or bar settings, along with strong organisational skills, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the smooth operation of the bar during weekend shifts, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
* Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages in accordance with established recipes and safety standards
* Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and excellent guest experiences
* Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
* Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to prevent shortages during shifts
* Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and foster a friendly atmosphere
* Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and adheres to health and safety regulations
* Assist in training new team members on service procedures and safety protocols
* Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using basic maths skills
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred
* Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
* Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
* Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and supervise others when required
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Personal qualities such as professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude are highly valued
