Overview
A role with purpose in a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people. You will support pupils and students ranging from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills) who are referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
We are working with schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
Qualifications and Requirements
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
Location, Safeguarding, and Conditions
* Location: Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online jobs
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
* Pay/Contract: Ledbury, Herefordshire — £28 - £35 per hour (Contract)
