About the Role: As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing pupils in Years 3 to 6 for the transition to secondary school. You’ll play a key role in developing pupils’ literacy, numeracy, and analytical thinking while supporting emotional and social development through an inclusive and stimulating classroom. Your Responsibilities as a Key Stage 2 Teacher: Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum Promote excellent standards in reading, writing, maths, and science Prepare pupils for SATs and ensure they make good progress Create a classroom culture of high expectations, achievement, and respect Monitor, assess, and report on pupil attainment and development Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to support learning and wellbeing Establish strong relationships with parents and carers Ideal KS2 Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification is required Previous UK experience teaching within a Key Stage 2 classroom Strong curriculum knowledge and familiarity with SATs preparation Effective behaviour management and classroom leadership skills A reflective practitioner with a proactive and resilient attitude Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join GSL Education?
