Position Scope
This role focuses on checking, receiving, and storing goods and materials from vendors at Thames Refinery, managing their storage and movement efficiently. The successful candidate should have experience with inventory systems such as SAP and possess strong IT skills for data entry. The role combines administrative duties with warehouse operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing goods delivered by vendors (MRO & Materials).
- SAP system entry for goods receipts, issues, and stock transfers.
- Conducting physical inventory counts and stocktakes, investigating discrepancies.
- Ensuring timely and efficient goods receiving and loading, maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Collaborating with the Materials management team to optimize delivery schedules.
- Completing all necessary paperwork for goods received.
- Working with Packing Area Managers to ensure proper storage and control of products.
- Liaising with the quality department for immediate resolution of quality issues.
- Performing inbound quality checks against supplier specifications.
- Ensuring traceability of inbound materials in accordance with specifications.
- Managing quarantine and control of non-conforming materials, with proper communication.
Capabilities
- Good numeric and English literacy skills.
- Forklift license or experience.
- Computer literacy, especially with SAP, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and multi-task.
