Overview
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children's growth through stimulating activities, both planned and spontaneous. Working closely with colleagues and families, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
Responsibilities
* Support children's learning through adult-led and child-initiated play.
* Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space that encourages exploration and discovery.
* Deliver In the Moment Planning (ITMP) and facilitate free-flow activities.
* Work in partnership with parents and carers to identify starting points and celebrate progress.
* Monitor and track children's development through observations and focus weeks.
* Promote resilience, confidence, and social skills through group play and learning experiences.
Qualifications
* Level 2 or 3 Early Years
* Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or early years education setting.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
* Ability to manage small groups effectively while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere.
