You'll be part of a supportive team that champions collaboration and teamwork. What will the Accounts Assistant role involve? Full ownership of the accounts payable process Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate cost centre coding Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Preparing payment runs Posting payments to the ledger and reconciling accounts Processing employee expenses Multicurrency reconciliations With training and support, you’ll also be involved in: Month-end close (including accruals, prepayments, and journal posting) Payroll journal entries and reconciliations Preparing audit schedules and answering auditor queries Cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and revenue/COS analysis Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy: Strong experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role Excellent Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas) Highly organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable communicating with both suppliers and internal teams Proactive and solutions-focused, with a drive to improve Additional benefits and information for the role of Accounts Assistant: Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE Study support provided Hybrid working model: 2 days in the office, 3 from home 28 days' holiday, including bank holidays Company pension scheme On-site parking CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
