What We Are Looking For
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Director to join our Strategy Team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
This is a high-impact role pivotal in shaping and delivering our strategic direction and achieving measurable benefits for InterTradeIreland and its stakeholders. The successful candidate will support the Strategy Director in managing research, insights, and policy development activities. The role involves working closely with colleagues and external stakeholders to provide research and policy insights, identify opportunities for enterprise growth, and support shared economic policy priorities through collaboration and strategic thinking.
You will also be responsible for stakeholder engagement to enhance InterTradeIreland's reputation and strategic positioning within the wider economic support ecosystem across the island. Further details are available in the Job description.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification
* At least 3 years' management experience developing strategic activities aligned with organizational objectives
* At least 3 years' experience managing research and/or economic strategy/policy development
* A proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects with strategic outcomes
* At least 3 years' experience leading teams, with strong planning, organization, and results orientation
