About the role
Due to the growth of the business, our client is looking for an experienced JOINER or CABINET MAKER to join their business. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be supported & looked after every step of the way in this role! This role is a great opportunity to learn and grow with the business. You will be provided with all the support and training you need to set you up for success!
Tasks and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
* Understanding technical drawings and how your work will fit within the building
* Creating design drawings, alongside sketches of the work needed and the specifications
* Making framework, furniture, and staircases for shopfitting
* Ensuring construction work meets regulations
* Using cutting and sanding tools
Skills & experience
* An excellent attitude towards work and other people (customers, co-workers, and management)
* Be physically fit and work at a fast rate
* At least 3 + years experience in a similar role with relevant certification
Benefits and Perks
The hours for this role will predominantly be Monday to Friday from 7am - 3.30pm. During the warmer months, there will be the option to commence at 6.30am - 2.30pm.
