Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious unqualified Teaching Assistant to join an mainstream Primary School in L8, Liverpool to work with as a general teaching assistant supporting KS1 / KS2 pupils with ASC.
You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for their children.
This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
2. Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
3. Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
4. Deliver catch-up sessions
Essential Qualifications:
5. Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
6. Must have a passion for education
7. Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
8. Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
