Full Time Internal Medicine Veterinary Nurse – Manchester
Up to £35,000 DOE plus benefits
Company Overview
Due to continued growth within our state-of-the-art 24/7 hospital in Manchester, we are looking to add to the existing Wards team. We are looking for a dedicated Wards nurse to provide a high standard of care to a wide range of patients across both our referral and out-of-hours services. You will be fully involved in all aspects of patient care with access to top of the range equipment to assist with this.
Understanding your key role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of very experienced nurses working in a supportive environment. You will be involved in preparing and assisting with medicine patient work-ups/investigations to include imaging (scope, ultrasound, radiograph, CT scan, fluoroscopy) and procurement of samples, blood profiles and dynamic testing and microscopy of blood smears and urine samples. You will also be responsible for monitoring patient sedation and GA.
Key requirements
* RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
* Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
* Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
* Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
Working pattern
4 x 10 hour shifts working Monday to Friday between 07:00 to 19:00.
1:5 weekends working Saturday and Sunday 10 hour shifts between 07:00 to 19:00
