Back-End Developer (Braze CRM Mandatory)\n\nJob Description\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Back-End Developer with hands-on experience in Braze CRM to join our dynamic team. The role requires a backend-focused developer confident in navigating service-oriented architecture and solving medium-sized engineering problems while collaborating with teams across product, marketing, and operations. This is a remote position based anywhere in the UK.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign and implement robust backend services and microservices to support CRM functionality and campaign logic using languages such as Python or Golang.\nDevelop and maintain integrations between Braze and internal platforms.\nSupport the build and optimisation of campaign templates using tools like JSON, Liquid, Handlebars, MJML.\nCollaborate with product and marketing stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nOwn medium-sized technical problems and deliver working, well-documented solutions.\nContribute to code reviews, release cycles, and team ceremonies.\nDocument services, features, and decisions to support long-term maintainability.\nDiagnose and resolve performance issues across CRM campaigns and related backend services.\nSupport QA and deployment processes to ensure defect-free CRM experiences.\n\nEssential Skills\n\n4+ years of backend development experience.\nStrong development skills in coding languages such as Python.\n2+ years of hands-on experience with Braze CRM, including building and managing campaigns.\nSolid understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices.\nProficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for CRM asset customisation.\nFamiliarity with GIT and continuous integration/deployment workflows.\nEnglish at C1 level.\n\nAdditional Skills & Qualifications\n\nExperience in coding Golang is preferred.\nBraze Developer Certification preferred.\nExperience collaborating with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders.\nBasic knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and retrieval.\nBraze Certifications (Braze Practitioner, Braze Strategist, Braze Technical Architect).\nExposure to campaign design principles or UX/design awareness.\n\nLocation\n\n London, UK\n\nTrading as TEKsystems.
