A leading real estate company is seeking a Legal Director to be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Legal Director provides high level strategic legal thought leadership to the business, working cross functionally with key stakeholders from diverse functions. In this role, you will be manage a team responsible for all legal matters, which are primarily related to land development projects, investments and partnerships. Together with your team, you will draft and review all legal documents, support project negotiations, oversee full cycle contract management and ensure that a high level of compliance and legal awareness across all departments.
The ideal candidate:
* Bachelor's Degree in Law
* 8+ years of experience in real estate development, with exposure to large scale, high complexity developments.
* Strategic leader with the ability to work effectively with senior level stakeholders, both internal and external
* Deep understanding of Southeast Asia
* High competency in English, with full business proficiency
This role is based in Phnom Penh and will require relocation.
