Position: School Receptionist

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Good School with outstanding features in Northampton who is eagerly seeking a well organised, and warm individual to take on the front of house receptionist role in their school.
About the role
As a school receptionist you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for students, parents and staff. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and ensure there is smooth operation of the school’s front office throughout the day. Some of your main responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming Students, parents and visitors
* Answering, and managing phone calls, and directing messages to the appropriate member of staff, or pupil
* Maintain accurate attendance records, and pupil information whilst keeping these confidential at all times
* Provide general support and assistance to school staff members, pupils, and parents when necessary
* Assisting with administration tasks such as; data entry, and filing
Requirements
* Monday to Friday
* Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is ideal
* Professional and friendly nature when dealing with both students, and parents
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Child only enhanced DBS (Or happy to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
