A national RBCA is now recruiting for a Registered Building Inspector to oversee new-build developments in the vicinity of Huntingdon. The home-based role features a variety of Class 2A and B applicable schemes.Building Inspector responsibilitiesCheck plans for compliance with Building Regulations, structural warranty criteria, and associated guidanceUndertake inspection of works and produce detailed inspection recordsIssue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificatesEnsure inspections have been carried out, with appropriate certification submitted, and that defects/non-conformities have been addressed prior to issuing final certificateOperate in accordance with QMS proceduresProvide mentoring and support for trainee surveyorsAttend client meetings as requiredBuilding Inspector requirementsClass 2A / 2B / 2D Registered Building Inspector (or otherwise actively engaged in the registration process)Construction-based experienceExperience of residential developments from foundation to completionInterpersonal skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and environmental concernsIT literateBenefitsStarting salary circa £48,000 - £55,000Company car / car allowanceBonusHealthcarePayment of 2 professional subscriptionsOngoing training and developmentFor more information regarding the Building Inspector vacancy or to discuss related opportunities, please get in touch via email, or contact 01332 505506.TPBN1_UKTJ
