Job Title: Centre Operations Director
This role requires an individual with exceptional organisational, administrative and financial management skills to coordinate multiple workstreams with precision.
You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality services, manage projects, support fundraising and communications, and ensure facilities meet the needs of clinicians and the community.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently, take initiative, and be a collaborative member of a small team, with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with people from all walks of life.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Work with directors and advisors to support long-term planning and strategic development. Implement systems and structures to maximise service delivery, productivity, and outcomes.
2. Operations and Facilities Management: Oversee clinic and event room bookings, maintain customer service standards, liaise with contractors regarding building maintenance, and ensure facilities are well-maintained and safe.
3. Financial Management: Lead the organisation's financial management, monitoring project budgets, invoices, licences and debtors. Chair a monthly finance subcommittee meeting and maintain an overview of the organisation's cash flow and projections.
4. Governance: Act as the main point of contact for the board of directors and advisors. Prepare and attend monthly board meetings.
5. Programme and Event Delivery: Coordinate internal and public events, providing logistical and operational support including ticketing, promotions, and managing event staff/volunteers.
6. Clinical Project Management: Lead operational delivery of funded projects, tracking budgets, collating outcome measures, writing reports, managing timelines, and liaising with clinicians and patients.
7. Outreach Programme Management: Coordinate outreach programmes, acting as the main point of contact for programme staff, reporting on their activities and progress to the board, and maintaining operational frameworks.
8. HR: Manage all HR elements of the organisation, including advertising and recruiting roles, drafting contracts, keeping an up-to-date log of internal policies, and handling staff concerns.
9. Development and Fundraising: Support grant research, writing, and application processes in collaboration with the Development Coordinator. Liaise with key funders and maintain records, reports, and track project outcomes.
10. Communications: Lead on internal and external communications, including newsletters, social media, and website content.
