Description About The Role: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team as an Attendance Officer. This role is pivotal in supporting the Attendance and Inclusion Lead to collect and organise data for all schools whilst supporting Education Welfare Officers and schools across the Trust to maintain accurate records, promote excellent attendance, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities -Collect, organise, and maintain data for all schools within the Trust. -Provide administrative support for Admissions, Part Time Timetable, and Pupil Absence Group panels, including producing clear and concise meeting minutes. -Assist with casework and monitor student attendance across schools. -Promote a culture of high attendance and punctuality. -Support schools in implementing the Trust Attendance Strategy to reduce absence levels. -Ensure registers are completed accurately and in line with statutory school requirements. About You We are looking to hear from candidates with: -Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail. -Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. -Proficient in data management and reporting. -Knowledge of school attendance procedures and statutory requirements. -Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. -Knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to the safeguarding and protection of children.
