Are you an experienced infrastructure leader looking to shape the future of vital utilities in the South of England?
We’re looking for a dynamic Project Director to join the senior leadership team delivering a major capital works programme in the regulated water sector. With a framework value of up to £1bn, this is a high-profile opportunity to lead the delivery of complex projects across a 5-year period, from design through to commissioning and handover.
You’ll lead a large delivery team and act as the primary point of contact for a key client. This role demands strong stakeholder engagement, strategic oversight, and a relentless commitment to safety, performance, and collaboration.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading the end-to-end delivery of major civil, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure projects
Championing a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility
Driving programme-wide performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
Building trusted relationships with client teams and internal stakeholders
Ensuring commercial outcomes are delivered on time and on budget
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience leading complex infrastructure projects or programmes
Strong leadership in collaborative environments (preferably in the water/utilities sector)
Deep understanding of CDM, engineering management, and collaborative contracts (e.g. NEC)
Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a solutions-focused mindset
HNC/HND or Degree in construction/engineering
NEC PM accreditation and APMP (preferred)
