What you will do:
* Undertake complex Care Act 2014 assessments, reviews, and support planning, ensuring outcomes-focused and proportionate interventions.
* Lead and coordinate safeguarding adults enquiries (Section 42), managing risk and promoting wellbeing in line with statutory guidance.
* Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments and contribute to best interest decision-making, including court-related work where required.
* Manage a complex caseload and provide professional advice and oversight on high-risk cases within the locality team.
Qualifications:
* Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work (UK recognised).
Registration & Compliance:
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Sound working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding adults frameworks.
Experience:
* Significant post-ASYE experience within UK local authority adult social care.
* Proven experience managing complex cases involving high levels of risk.
* Experience of supervising or mentoring practitioners within a statutory setting.
