Duration: Permanent, Part Time - 22.5 hours
Job Purpose:
To deliver a statutory social work/care management service to service users, their families, and carers who are experiencing or are affected by mental disorder or difficulties with mental health.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
* Professional Social Work Qualification (BA Social Work qualification or equivalent DipSW, CQSW)
* SSSC Registration
* Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme Record (PVG) or willingness to become registered
The postholder is able to demonstrate:
* Ability to relate to, communicate, and work with a wide range of professionals, service users, and carers
* Ability to manage risk
* Interviewing and investigation skills
* Assessment skills (including finance)
* Ability to manage constant and often conflicting demands
* Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for own practice, seeking advice and support as necessary
