Role Purpose
As a Sales Account Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our customer relationships. You’ll be the main point of contact for quotes, orders and daily service, supported by an expert external sales team. From virtual meetings to on-site visits, you’ll make sure our customers get what they need, when they need it, and you won’t be afraid to push back or challenge the status quo to make our service even better.
You’ll also pitch in and help across the wider customer service team when needed, supporting colleagues to keep our service standards high and our promises delivered.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Own the day-to-day management of accounts including quotes, orders, queries and everything in between
* Build and maintain trusted relationships through regular virtual meetings and on-site visits when needed
* Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Purchasing, Service, Marketing and Warehouse to deliver what we promise every time
* Proactively track orders, resolve issues quickly and keep customers informed
* Prepare pricing, contracts and account documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
* Spot opportunities to grow accounts and improve processes. Bring ideas forward and make them happen
* Confidently challenge customer expectations when needed to protect Heamar’s commercial success
* Help out with other customer service tasks and support the wider team when needed to keep operations smooth
* Tackle challenges head-on and get problems sorted
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in account coordination, sales support or customer service, ideally in distribution, technical supply or manufacturing
* Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease
* Strong communicator, both written and verbal, comfortable with virtual meetings and face-to-face visits
* Positive, solutions-focused mindset, always looking for a better way
* Confident to push back and challenge constructively, both internally and with customers
* A true team player who’s willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed
* Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and general admin tools
