What You'll Do
* Deliver risk consulting assignments that are profitable and receive positive feedback.
* Manage small consulting assignments when necessary.
* Support the development of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Support effective risk management services on projects and/or workstreams within larger projects, drawing on minimal input from Principals/Associates/Directors.
* Carry out the development and presentation of client risk management deliverables; engage effectively with stakeholders for corrective actions to mitigate threats and utilize opportunities in accordance with organisational processes.
* Support project leaders in the successful delivery of the project.
* Provide regular reports to project and risk managers on the risk status of the projects and programmes, providing advice on management of contingency.
* Establish and coordinate a register of risk management activities.
Qualifications
* Expertise in all aspects of project risk management facilitation.
* Good understanding or experience of building simple cost, schedule, and business risk models using applications such as ARM, Primavera Risk Analyzer, Safran Risk, Predict, and Xactium.
* Knowledge of risk management techniques.
* Knowledge of project management and project control processes.
* Experience working on infrastructure projects in at least one of the following sub‑sectors: rail, energy, highways, aviation, defence, and/or utility sectors.
Desirable
* Degree qualified.
* Recognised diploma or degree, or qualification by experience with a qualification in risk management.
* Membership of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management, Risk Practitioner, or other professional associations.
* Ability to work to own deadlines and under own initiative.
