Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our growing team in Uxbridge, London. You should have proven experience in customer service and mortgage administration, both in a commercial and regulated loans environment.
We would like to hear from candidates with experience of residential and buy to lets, ideally with limited companies and who have excellent customer service and communication skills.
As a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
* Regular communication with customers who are experiencing payment difficulties
* Discussing and negotiating arrears workout options, e.g. arrangements, capitalisation, workouts, shortfall sales etc
* Monitoring agreed workout strategies to ensure they are complied with and taking action in accordance with the Special Servicing Manual where appropriate
* Creating and submitting referrals to line Manager for all requests outside mandate
* Effectively handling inbound and outbound arrears and collections customer and third-party calls, offering excellent customer service at all times
* Delivering accurate and timely processing of loan administration activities
* Regular communication with customers and clients
* Conducting all primary servicing activities

Additional Information:
This position is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial office-based training), of up to three days a week office attendance.
Essential Skills:
* Experience with residential and buy to let mortgages
* Phone-based customer service experience
* Insolvency/collections – The ability to understand and appropriately utilise systems and processes for the benefit of debt collection.
* Legal and compliance – The ability to understand and utilise legislative requirements for the benefit of the organisation.
* Risk – The ability to assess and mitigate risk for the benefit of the organisation.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Self-reliant and self-motivated.
* Able to work within established internal controls and maintain a high standard of quality across all your tasks.
* Detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.
