We are Places for People Group, we're a social enterprise that believes it's people that make a community. At Places Leisure we are changing lives by creating active places and healthy people for communities to thrive. If you’re looking to be part of a supportive team that values development and great customer service, this could be the role for you.
More About Your Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Swimming Teacher at Places Leisure. You will work in a fun, lively environment with like-minded people, inspiring others to work together and deliver their best. With your passion for teaching, swimming and strong class programming and instructing skills, you will be enthusiastic and engage with customers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
All swimmer development stages are based on the National Plan for Teaching Swimming, and a minimum of UKCC Level 2 is required. It would be advantageous to hold a Lifesaving Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC); however, with our continuous learning and development opportunities, we would be happy to support you in achieving either qualification.
There are many opportunities within Places Leisure. A Swimming Teacher role can be a stepping stone to roles such as Swimming Co-ordinator and Contract Swimming Development Manager. We offer ongoing training and development, including support with NPLQ or NRASTC qualifications, to enhance your customer service and more.
