About the Role
Your primary responsibility is to support building and enhancing valuation tools in Power BI. You will work with actuaries to understand their needs for financial reporting and risk management. As part of the global valuation team, we create global standard reporting tools used by Swiss Re Life & Health valuation actuaries worldwide. These include analytical tools on cashflows and reserves, as well as dashboards providing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support senior management decisions. You will support senior actuaries in developing these tools and collaborate with the IT team.
Please note, this is an 8-month contract position.
Key Responsibilities
* Author or support the creation of Business Requirements Document - Work closely with valuation and project actuaries to understand requirements, translating them into detailed business requirements for IT teams to develop solutions in Power BI.
* Testing of changes – Review and test changes, considering report usage to identify key test scenarios, ensuring reports are fit for purpose before deployment.
* Ad-hoc support and training on MSBI – Assist with queries and share knowledge within and outside the team as you gain experience with MSBI and related tools.

Actuarial Operations and Solutions (AOS) manages Swiss Re's global systems for Life & Health business, including the company's largest application and database used across various departments worldwide. About You

Qualifications
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field, in progress or recently completed.
* Some progress in actuarial exams (preferred).
* Motivated, collaborative, independent, and creative problem-solver.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
