Repairs Coordinator Grade 4, £26,403 up to £29,540 per annum pro rata 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 2 year fixed term contract An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic In-House Repairs Team at Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council. We are looking for a proactive Repairs Coordinator to support both our Repairs Helpdesk and Scheduling Teams. This is a varied role offering the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As part of a supportive and committed team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our housing repairs service runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for: Providing responsive and helpful support to customers and operatives Scheduling appointments for basic and larger repair works Monitoring operative diaries and ensuring urgent and emergency repairs are prioritised Offering reactive cover for our busy Repairs Helpdesk Liaising with suppliers for material orders and updates Supporting colleagues with job queries and coordinating with other departments as needed Maintaining accurate records and support the smooth running of our housing platforms, including Orchard Housing We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering excellent service. You will have experience in customer service, administration and scheduling, and be confident using digital systems.
