The Role
As Administrator / Works Coordinator you will support framework delivery by overseeing administrative workflow processes and helping coordinate day‑to‑day operational activities across the Wessex MEICA portfolio.
You will also provide cover for the current Works Coordinator during annual leave or unplanned absence, ensuring continuity of framework delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer work orders through the full workflow process, ensuring timely progression, accurate data entry, and clear audit trails.
* Allocate resources to PPM and RPM activities, coordinating with supervisors and operational teams.
* Order materials and manage stock/consumables as required, including local ordering of PPE and site‑related items.
* Maintain documentation for ongoing works, including completion packs, permits, inspection reports, and remit close‑out documentation.
* Oversee document control processes for internal and external systems, ensuring compliance and version control.
* Collate and prepare safety documentation (briefings, toolbox talks, safety matrices) and commercial records (timesheets, staff logs).
* Provide administrative support to the framework team, including meeting coordination, minutes, correspondence, and reporting.
* Provide assistance to the commercial team (QS framework support) where required.
* Manage office tasks including IT asset logging, stationery/PPE ordering, and facilities management.

Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in administration, coordination, or similar support roles (engineering or construction experience beneficial but not essential).
* Ability to work to deadlines in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
* Strong IT literacy, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to organise, prioritise, and work independently.
Desirable
* Experience coordinating or managing documentation such as completion packs, CEMPs, or resource plans.
* Familiarity with workflow or asset management systems in a framework environment.
