Overview
Warwick Arts Centre is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Visitor Experience Assistant to join the team. It’s our job to bring art into more people’s lives and our Visitor Experience Assistants are integral to helping us reach, and connect with, more people in new ways.
About You
As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you will be responsible for working across all visitor services areas, whilst ensuring a safe environment is maintained. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure the safe and smooth running of all events, responding promptly and appropriately in the event of an unplanned situation. You will be knowledgeable and approachable in order to assist visitors with queries or signposting in auditoria’s, at the box office front desk and foyer spaces. From checking tickets, to invigilating artwork, to selling snacks, drinks, ice cream and merchandise; you will undertake a variety of tasks, interacting with a range of audiences. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself within the arts, working across our 4 performance spaces, 3 cinemas and Mead Gallery.

Responsibilities
* Work across all visitor services areas to support safe, smooth running of events
* Provide queries or signposting support to visitors at various venues (auditoria, box office, foyer)
* Check tickets, invigilate artwork, and assist with sales of snacks, drinks, ice cream and merchandise
* Respond promptly to unplanned situations to ensure safety and visitor experience
* Collaborate with the team across multiple spaces within Warwick Arts Centre
About The Department
Please note: this role requires frequent evening, weekend, and bank holiday working. Shifts are allocated and planned around our live programme and building activities. Hours will be annualised across term time, and there is no fixed working pattern.
