Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Management Be the go-to person for supplier invoices - processing everything efficiently through our expense management system, Moss. Chase up internal approvals, ensure accounting categorisation is spot-on, and get our suppliers paid on time. Own the weekly payment run and reconcile bank statements like a pro. Keep our Spanish subsidiary in sync by managing AP across both regions. Accounts Receivable Management Keep an eagle eye on aged receivables and chase down outstanding payments. Liaise with customers for remittance details and ensure their ledgers balance out. Reconcile deductions, debit notes, and other mystery items to keep the AR ledger squeaky clean. Financial Operations & Compliance Help keep teams accountable by sending out budget spend reports each month. Prepare and file VAT returns. Be the master of the finance inbox - making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Month-End Processes Take ownership of our monthly reconciliations: AR, AP, bank accounts, and online platforms like Shopify. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for Head of Finance review. Post key month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals.
