Head of Data Management - Manchester - Hybrid Remote - Up to £130k
My client are a growing data consultancy and are looking for a Head of Data Management to help guide the business in regards to their data governance, quality, strategy, and management. To be considered for this role you must have the relevant experience working in Azure/Databricks environments.

Role and Requirements
* Create a strategic roadmap for the data management practice, including service offerings and delivery methodologies
* Lead thought leadership initiatives through white papers, speaking engagements, and industry events
* Build and nurture relationships with technology partners and industry associations
* Define and implement KPIs to measure the effectiveness of data management initiatives
* Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and career progression paths for the capability with the practice leads
* Establish robust data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to client needs
* Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development
* Present complex data management concepts to stakeholders at varying technical levels
* Design and implement data stewardship models with clear accountability structures
* Develop comprehensive data quality frameworks with clear metrics and success criteria
* Implement data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment processes
* Create remediation processes for addressing data quality issues
* Quantify the business impact of data quality improvements
* Design and implement master data management (MDM) strategies across client organisations
What do I need to apply
* 10+ years of progressive experience in data management, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
* Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and methodologies
* Experience with data architecture principles and modern data platforms
* Familiarity with data protection regulations, particularly UK/EU frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working in Azure and Databricks environments.
