The company turns over more than £3 billion globally and delivers thousands of customer orders per week through state-of-the-art machines including conveyor systems, shuttle systems, and robots. The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will help and support the running of all the automated equipment on site, including Autostores, various conveyor systems, shuttle systems, packaging equipment, carton erectors, autobaggers, and crossbelt sorters. Responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance and service of all equipment on site, working as part of a large on-site maintenance engineering team, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities for optimal machinery performance. Mechanical tasks will involve replacing worn-out parts on conveyors like rollers, bearings, and pulleys. Electrical tasks will include reading electrical schematics, using electrical test equipment such as multi-meters, and fault finding on panels. You will mainly swap electrical and mechanical components and occasionally handle strip and rebuild projects.

To be successful in your application for a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
* Engineering qualification
* Experience performing maintenance tasks on Electromechanical systems
* Previous experience working as a hands-on maintenance Engineer
