Job Description:
Be part of something big! We look at what is wrong with food to figure out how to make it the best it can be, without being bound by traditional methods. This innovative approach has led Finnebrogue to multiple awards, nationwide acclaim, and established us as a leading food producer. In 2024, we were recognized as the UK's Employer of the Year by Grocer Gold and the Best Place to Work in Northern Ireland by the Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards. Our robust People Strategy offers career pathways and development opportunities for all employees, emphasizing talent growth and wellbeing with generous benefits.
We are proud to be the first food producer in the UK and Ireland to achieve the Diversity Mark accreditation and are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace. With four sites in Downpatrick, our business continues to grow rapidly, with turnover increasing from £50M to £200M in the past 6 years.
Join us at Finnebrogue, where innovation meets excellence, and every team member is valued and empowered to grow.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking Project Manager to join our Business Systems team and lead various technology projects across our production sites—from ERP and MES rollouts to automation, traceability solutions, and smarter ways of working. You'll work with teams from production, engineering, sustainability, and IT—translating our vision into project plans, managing delivery, and ensuring real-world impact.
The successful candidate will bring a wide range of experience and skills, combined with high attention to detail, enthusiasm, and curiosity.
* Leading the planning and delivery of digital and tech projects to improve production capability and efficiency.
* Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external tech partners.
* Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources with precision.
* Ensuring tech solutions meet food manufacturing standards, including traceability, compliance, and sustainability goals.
* Assisting with the rollout of new systems like ERP, MES, SCADA, and digital quality tools.
* Reporting on progress, risks, and ROI to senior stakeholders.
* Ensuring team understanding of project goals and supporting successful implementation.
What it Takes
A minimum of 3 years experience managing tech or digital transformation projects.
Hours of Work
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours from 10am to 4pm.
Benefits
Enjoy benefits such as subsidized meals in our restaurant-standard canteen, free breakfast and lunch options, free onsite parking and electric charging points, weekly free products through our Shack Initiative, wellbeing, social, and sports events, healthcare plans, cycle-to-work schemes, electric car schemes, and paid birthday leave.
