This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior finance role within a fast-paced, ambitious business that’s grown 46% year-on-year, and isn’t slowing down. With a turnover of £8m and a team of 28, this healthcare distribution company is scaling rapidly and needs a Finance Manager who can keep pace, take ownership, and help shape the future.
You’ll report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the board, external advisors and senior leadership. This is a hands-on role with strategic visibility, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
* Leading the finance function and overseeing a small team
* Preparing management accounts, cashflow forecasts and financial models
* Supporting and challenging board decisions with commercial insight
* Ensuring accurate month-end processes, reconciliations and payment runs
* Liaising with external advisors for payroll and financial review
* Contributing to senior leadership meetings and strategic planning
What you will need:
* Experience in a similar role, such as Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Head of Finance
* To be a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
* Strong technical finance skills and commercial acumen
* Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, modelling, analysis)
* Experience in an SME environment and ability to work at pace
* A proactive, resilient mindset with the confidence to influence at board level
