Are you a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Psychology Teacher to join a thriving academic community in Walsall, teaching at KS4 and KS5. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver stimulating and engaging psychology lessons to students at KS4 and KS5.
* Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages critical thinking, deep understanding of psychological theories, and real-world applications.
* Assess and monitor student progress through both formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to reach their full potential.
* Encourage independent thinking, research skills, and a passion for psychology both in and out of the classroom.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to the academic success of the students.
* Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and academic achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Psychology or a related field.
* A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Proven experience teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5.
* Strong knowledge of psychological concepts, theories, and research.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
* Ability to create a supportive learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
