Adult Social Care Solicitor Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE Contract Length: 3-month initial contract Local Authority Flexible Hybrid Working Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor on behalf of a well-respected Local Authority based in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality, solution-focused legal service across Adult Social Care and Court of Protection matters, playing a crucial role in safeguarding the Council's interests. Key Responsibilities Manage and advise on a varied caseload of Adult Social Care legal matters, including Court of Protection applications. Draft, revise, and advise on complex legal documentation across the Council. Conduct research, interpret legislation, and advise on relevant legal changes impacting Adult Social Care. Prepare and issue Court proceedings and undertake advocacy where appropriate, including contested hearings. About You Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx). Proven advocacy experience within the Court of Protection. Knowledge of local government law and experience working within a public sector environment (desirable).
