Supply Hive is supporting a welcoming primary school in Slough who is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the school year. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that supports every child’s development. Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Create a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s emotional, social, and educational development. Observe, assess, and track pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and using assessments to inform planning. Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team. Support children’s personal care needs where appropriate. Requirements: ✅Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ✅Experience teaching in a Nursery or Early Years setting (preferred) ✅Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework. ✅A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children. ✅Right to work in the UK. ✅DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
